Lessons from the road.

Yes I know I have not been keeping up the blog over the last few weeks as we have been traveling. I love to travel although it can have some challenges. There are lessons in those challenges. Over the next few days I plane to offer you these lessons. The first lesson came in the form of a volcano. Yeah I know. Who would have thought? The day after we arrived in London most of Europe got shut down by volcanic ash.

Over the next few days we scrambled. We had people from all over the world ready to come to our seminars yet 25% of them were stuck. I was impressed with what people were willing to do in order to make it to the seminars. Some jumped into cars and drove. Others caught rides with strangers. The effort to get there was amazing. Even then not everyone could make it. So we set up a web based seminar on our site so those who could not make it could attend from home.

If you do your best to take care of your customers you will be rewarded with loyalty. This is a lesson that many business owners seem to forget. They start taking them for granted. Then the customers feel abandoned . When that happens it is hard to get them to trust you again.

I don’t care what business you are in. Service is the key to happy customers. No we are not perfect at this either. When we are traveling it is hard to give the level of service we would like to. As I sit here in the south of France it is hard to think of business at all. Yet I want to take the time to thank all of you who follow us.

We will be home soon but until then I want to offer a few things and a few adventures that we have had.

Stay tuned 🙂 Tom and Kim
