Using
your timeline to achieve what you want in life!
I was wondering what it would be worth to you
to attain your goals? If you're like me you may have read lots of books which
said to write down your goals for a day, a week, a month, a year, five years,
and up to your lifetime. I thought about all the things dreamed about and wrote
it all down, just like the books said. I did everything exactly like the books
said, and I still didn't get what I wanted. At first I thought that I must have
done something wrong, until I talked to one person after the other who had the
same pathetic results.
For a long time I sat wondering what the strategies
in the books were missing. I finally realized that all they did was have you
think about your dreams, but they didn't help you figure out how to take the
first step toward getting there. One guy I know set the goal of being a
millionaire by the time he was 25, and got really depressed when he turned 25
and was still making only about $500/week. He had done nothing to realize
making his first million.
There's a huge difference between setting a goal and
actually moving to go get it.
There are also so many elements to consider. I mean
do you really believe you can get what you want? Do you deserve it? Are you
willing to do the things you need to do to get your goals? Or do you need to
change them a little bit? And for all of you who can say yes to all these
questions and know how to get there, what haven't you been doing to motivate
yourself to get everything you want?
