Too many people run their lives based upon their comfort.

A live without pain is a life where you never get to develop character. It is like cheating as solitaire. Sure no on will ever know but you never learn to lose.

So today's assignment is to do something that is outside of your comfort zone. It does not have to be anything big. Just one small thing.

The truth is simple. Pain, loss and fear are necessary components of build strong character that can be admired. You MUST have these experiences to learn. Avoiding them avoids a basic building block of success.

Lets see what you can do.

Tom

Okie dokie Smile

I am back from a kickass day and night. I am actually feeling a little down but I Realized how that down feeling gets triggered so I am glad , because if I keep on living life instead of sitting on my ass I am gonna balance it soner or later.

I went to the synagoge today, which means meeting about a hundred people and getting to talk to them briefly. That kinda scared me at first but I was having a blast in the end.

A friend of mine came from NY and I met him and his father who is a little angry all the time. I chatted with him and even disagreed with him several times to see if I can handle his harsh character. Apart from all the pains in my heart and all over my body it was a blast! Actually I enjoy pain now Smile

We went out to a crazily crowded avenue with him and at some point he left me alone and went to his barber shop. So I had to return back home alone while literally a thousand people were coming at me every second. This got me stressed but I managed to keep my focus insted of running away to comfort and loosing my posture and walking speed.

My cousins and friends were giving a 150 people party because they are leaving for millitary. I went there totally alone and on the way there I shared a taxi with 2 girls and a shy boy. I initiated a conversation and had them all laughing and having fun. Then one girl was gorgeus so I focused more on her. At some moment I realized a detail of gold value. My eyes are my biggest weapon. So I decided to see if I can melt her with the way I looked her in her eyes. As scary as it was at first looking at how we connected through our eyes I was bedazzled. I got her phone number while the driver the other girl and the boy was looking at me confused and suprised Smile

I went to the party and decided to take my pain to the next level. I first melted 2 girls by looking in their eyes straight while talking and got both their numbers and one started posing with me like my girlfriend and saying I wanna put these on facebook! Smile There were 150 people so I decided I should try dancing by myself in the center of all of them . Out of everything this was probably the hardest but I started dancing and got all the crowd jumping up and down. It was a blast.

If I get into pain everyday as much as I did today I will figure out where states shift really soon and will start changing myself. I am so grateful to god because he gave me an iron will.

And I am so grateful to you Tom because you always direct me to the right path. Thanks alot dude.

Harun

The biggest lesson I'm learning at the moment is to just "ask".

Ask for what I want straight up.

I've always found this difficult because I expect a "no". I'm sure many other people feel exactly the same.

The strange thing about just coming out and asking for something is that sometimes even when you get told "no" you feel good just for asking.

Regardless of the outcome it puts an end to the worrying.

More often than not people say yes and we win. Even when they don't it's much easier to regroup and come up with another plan of action that will get to the outcome we want.

Getting a number of "no"s often gets us closer to the end goal we want.

"No"s, like a certain level of (perceived?) pain, are just part of the process of achieving success.
