More of a lurker than a poster here, but I do have to post this to
Tom and Kim. I missed the 2 week challenge, so I'm not really sure
about it.
It was the Headline that got me. So here is my story ...
So I'm just out of work as a welder because of chemcal posioning. I'm
figuring out what I should do with myself while laying in bed detoxing.
My Girlfriend says why don't you get into Martial arts full time.
Teaching with your own school. Well I'm just outta work, relocated,
minimal income, lack of savings because I was getting out of debt. So
were am I going to come up with anything?? Well a little pushing and
shoving I start to really get into the idea.
So enter Money Magnet. As
a side note I've been around NLP since Tony Robbins Personal Power came
out. This time everything is different.
First off I don't tell everyone
my thoughts about anything. Somehow telling everyone your thoughs
deflate the movement of progression. Now I need some funds. Money
Magnet.
Tax return is available. Good. I start actively going to coffee
shops and dinners and get chatty about being new to the area and I'm
active in martial arts. Then all of the sudden I have folks interested
in training with me. Student base. So gf asks about space, a place to
train. I ask at the local m.a. schools about sharing space. Senior
students are for it Head instructor has big ego. No.
o I Money Magnet
a location with a flexible enough owner to work with me. I don't know
who or how but I money magnet it. I then looked around town called a
few numbers. Nothing. So I let it be. Gf asks about location again and
starts bringing papers home with circled ads. I nod but don't move on
them. She got all upset and called all of them only to be turned down
flatly. Hell she is in real estate too.
So a couple of days pass and
I'm leaving the laundry mat. I thinking to myself I should stop down at
coffee shop and check e-mail. Fair enough. Get into the car and it hits
me I need to go find my dojo. So I figure that I'll take the scenic
route and see whats new. There it was a place that looks well out of my
price range with a for rent sign on it. What the hell I pull in. Jot
the number down and go look in the window. This is my dojo. The thought
came from somewhere deep inside me. I called the number and the owner
wants to show it to me but will not tell me a price. You got to see the
inside before we talk $$.
Ok. Next day gf and I go down and instantly
she knows this is it. The place is great. We start talking shop and
tells us its been for rent for 6 months!! I/we have driven by here
quite abit in the last few weeks and never noticed the sign!! He asks
us our plan. Well we don't have any money and we don't have students.
Hard to get students without a place, hard to have a place without
students. We talk a bit more he drops his asking price down $500- so we
can make things work on $$.
I call people to get definite whos
interested. I got 7 people to commit to training with 5 calls. We make
the numbers work. So I just found out that the government kept most of
my refund for back taxes owed. Shit. Money magnet.
I realize I can sale
martial arts stuff. 2 days later here it comes sold a few DVD's that I
haven't actively marketed as of late so I start to market them more. I
get a few e-mails about wooden training weapons I make. I have an e-
book waiting in the wings. I can launch in 2 weeks with a little
effort. Ryu sends me a care box loaded with ryu-ha shirts and videos
for sale. The local martial arts guy I'm friends with want to hang his
brush art work up in school to sell. He wants "x" I put "y" on it
make "z". All very reasonable under $50- Money magnet.
In short it works I'm now starting my life living my dream life and I
was ready to accept anything that came my way when it presented itself.
Things are really taking off.
The two biggest things I can say about Money Magnet is cut the
connection and forget about it for a full day. Then just open up to
receive. When you receive ... GO!! You never know what will come about.
This whole thing has happened in the last 3 weeks. Then Kim posted 2
week Money magent. I'm right in there even if I don't know anyone
personaly or really what the challenge is.
Tom and Kim are right on if you get yourself out of the way long
enough to just play with what they are presenting.

He's getting specific about what he wants. At the same time he's in a very interesting place where his motivation is high and he has to do something. That seems to really accelerate the process.
The main fact is that he acted on his desire.
