Is Psychic Influence Bull****?

And I think RJ tells a story somewhere about travelling with you or Kim while the other one was chiming in with some kind of remote rapport. That's some pretty freaky psychic stuff by my definition.

So is remote rapport a skill that exists in your experience, and if so, can you offer your thoughts on what is going on there?

I get this question all the time. I have some people who get our Magical Rapport DVDs and expect to learn how to psychically control other people.

People who claim to be psychic also claim to be able to read your mind. They claim to be able to tells you about your childhood in detail. They also claim to be able to move objects with their mind. Psychics include fortune tellers who claimed to be able to tell your future. Psychics also include those who claim to be able to talk to dead people.

Magical Rapport is about connection. It is about the ability to instantaneously and unstoppably be able to generate and dictate the type of connection that you are going to have. It is also about choosing which type of connection will have the most influence over the people that you are communicating with.

Some of those connections can be very strong. Some of the things that happened when there are strong connections can be mistakenly interpreted as being psychic. The story with Kim and I is true. She was in Oregon and I was in Atlanta. I was driving down the road and was just a little bored. So I use the Magical Rapport skills and to connect with Kim just for the fun of it. We verify the times and they did match up. While I do consider that a little freaky I don't consider psychic. It's just the kind of connection that Kim and I share.

In that case it took two very skilled people. Kim is also very sensitive to changes in her consciousness. She is very aware and very highly trained.

We all have this ability. We have all felt ourselves being watched and turned to see someone staring at us. We have all been thinking of someone just moments before they call when we haven't thought about them for months. We all generate these types of connections.

These connections are between individuals and do not happen because of any type of group connection that is shared by everyone on the planet.

Magical Rapport is not about controlling other people. In my opinion anyone who wants to have that kind of control over someone else does so out of their own feelings of weakness and inadequacy. They believe that the only way that they can attract what they want in their lives is by using control because no one will include them in their lives based upon the real value and real worth.

The trap is that once they establish rapport with someone that will open the door that swings both ways. Those who are in rapport with them will get a feeling that they have very little self-esteem. They will get a sense that that self-esteem problem makes them desperate and might be them you want to control other people. The end result will be that those who want to control others will really pushing them away.

What is needed there is not psychic ability. What is needed there is some very effective personal change. When you can really connect with other people and feel good about yourself there is no need to control people and use force to keep them around you. They will want to be around you because they enjoy the connection that you offer.

Every once in awhile I get an e-mail from someone saying that the Magical Rapport skills did not work. I asked them how they tried to use the skill and many times this is the response I get. "I got rapport with this girl and put the thought in her mind that she should walk over and talk to me. Then she walked away."

A follow-up question is always simple. I always ask what kind of connection did you create?

Usually the answer is that they didn't try to create any type question the tried to use force.

Then I asked how long they spend trying to create a connection. Many times the answer is 15 or 20 minutes. This always boggles my mind. Someone spend 15 or 20 minutes trying to establish nonverbal "psychic" rapport with someone.

My last question is usually very obvious. Why didn't you walked up to her and say hello?

"I don't want that I want them to come to me", is usually the answer.

The Magical Rapport skills are about generating a connection and taking ACTION. They're not about sitting on your ass and trying to control other people because you are insecure.

As far as the connection that is generated between two people were between groups of people, I don't pretend to understand nor do I try to explain. All I can tell you is that I know how to do it and I know how to teach it.

How does it work? Who cares? The only way to explain to you is to have you actually have experience of that level of connection with another human being. With that kind of connection it seems that distance is not a factor.

I do not consider it psychic abilities and I think it's foolish to try to use to attempt to control other people to avoid making the changes in yourself that would allow you to feel good enough about yourself that you would see the other people would like to get to know you.

As with most things, the skills we teach are not isolated skills. The Magical Rapport skills also tie into the 3-D My skills which tie into the calibration skills. That is why we have created a full system of skills.

How is this different than psychic influence? The goal of psychic influence is to force someone to do something by bending to your will. There is not a shared connection there is an attempt to force a connection. Then there is an attempt to make someone take action based upon that forced connection.

That never works.

Let me end this by saying that I don't care how Magical Rapport works. I live in a land of results that can be replicated.

I don't like the term psychic because of all the other bad things that are connected to that word. It is a worthy conjures up con men and four tellers and frankly I don't wanna be associated with that. It is a word that is used to entice the week and gullible believing they can become powerful and accepted by having a special skill.
