The Myth of Matching and Mirroring (Apr 16, 2008 at 4:29 AM) - Over the years I have heard a lot of stuff about rapport. The one thing
that
makes logical sense it that if you match someone's posture and tone that
you
will get rapport with them.
Patterns/scripts....Why they suck (Jan 21, 2008 at 11:50 AM) - The discussion of patterns is interesting because for many people they
are
the introduction to the concepts of hypnosis and persuasion.
How
many of us picked up the hypnosis book and began to read the script
and
experiment on ourselves and even some of our friends. It was like we
found
these magical words that can drop somebody into this mysterious
trance.
Then reality kicks in.
I'm not sure how many people have
had a telemarketer call you up and begin
reading a script. The amazing thing
to me is that some people will

Your comments above seem pretty clear: "face to face influence" like
anchoring, rapport, and the other tools you teach are REAL. The psychic
stuff is not.
That said, could you offer a comment on Magical Rapport tools?
