Mindtraps are the little
things we do ourselves to keep us trapped in where
we are. They are the
excuses we use to avoid doing the things we need to
do. They are the traps
that we unintentionally set inside of our mind that
can build a cage that has
no escape.
What makes these mindtraps so dangerous is that they are so
elusive. Many
of us have designed our lives to avoid bumping into any of our
mindtraps.
So many of them could be
Stage fright for 15 years (May 9, 2008 at 7:11 PM) - I have a friend who has been playing for the Atlanta ballet for over 15 years. The whole time she has been medicated to deal with stage fright. Of course I didn't know this until one night when we were all sitting around the local bar. Her husband came up to me and asked if I could do him a favor. He explained that his wife had been doing this.
